Moving better.
Pat Donaher started practicing yoga in 1995, twenty five years ago, on the advise of a musical mentor. What started as a means to a better saxophone sound has evolved into a wide-eyed exploration of the way humans can move, and a passion for sharing that with all kinds of people.
After that introduction to yoga in college, Pat got serious about his practice a few years later, studying with some all over Boston with teachers in a variety of styles, and personalizing the practice in early morning open studios at the old South Boston Yoga, where hard core Ashtangis mingled messed with the rope wall, and handstand addicts shared notes with yin practitioners. As his practice has evolved, he has and continues to explore a wide variety of movement studies, from acrobatics to martial arts, strength work to dance, and tries to incorporate the best of it into his teaching.
In regular times, Pat currently teaches primarily for the Boston Equinox fitness centers, and gives occasional workshops in Boston and beyond.
